Takımsan — full name: Takımsan Dişli Kesici Takımları Makina ve Yedek Parça San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. — is a Turkish precision production company established in 1981 in İstanbul, Türkiye.
The company began as a maker of precision gear cutting tools: hobs, shapers and broaches for the metalworking industry. The precision machining capabilities developed for gear tooling formed the engineering foundation for two subsequent product lines: planetary gearboxes and, later, the PLATEX planetary roller extruder.
Today Takımsan exports to 40+ countries across five continents. The PLATEX extruder range covers eight models from 45 kg/hr laboratory scale to 2,500 kg/hr continuous production. All products are manufactured in our İstanbul facility under ISO 9001:2015 quality management and CE certification.
Takımsan is cited in academic literature (Formela and Eyigöz) as one of only two manufacturers worldwide producing lab-scale planetary roller extruders.
